Mansions on the Moon- Paradise Falls Mixtape

Merry Christmas and 816 to all Bondies. Things are looking up for BB in the New Year. We have a new crew of "study" abroad students all set to invade the campus, the weather is sweltering hot, and I finally got my Ray Bans replaced!
It's bloody cold in Canadia but thankfully I have a mixtape to drive to in the MoTM Paradise Falls Mixtape. Featuring the likes of Chiddy Bang, Deadmau5 and Washed Out and Presented by none other than the legendary musical tastemaker Diplo, this dreamy slice of tune-age drifts perfectly with a drive through snowy peaked mountain tops. Enjoy it everybody.

Klaas Is Out

Introducing my favourite German DJ, Klaas Gerling. This guy has been around for a while, but hadn't really caught my attention until I heard "Bodybangers" a few weeks back. Since then I've been obsessed; he just knows what the party wants to hear. Mixing under the Scream & Shout label, Klaas has remixed power houses such as Armen Van Helden and Michael Mind instantly earning him respect in the world of music. Four days until class is out! Dance Bondies, dance!

I'm going to try to get into the spirit of the holidays this weekend with a little alternative Christmas music. This is a real good track to kick off the holiday season.

Mighty Mouse says study!

All work no play makes Bondie Beats a dull blog. But exam time sadly means a kink in the hose for music, for now.
But lets get the water flowing, at least till the next exam.

Had a lengthy train journey back from brisbane and put on a mix without looking at the tracklisting or really knowing who it was by and I’m very, very happy I did.

I’m only 3/4 of the way through and it’s been a rollercoaster of energy.

Proper productive stuff considering the amount of work I’ve done whilst it’s been on. This could be the perfect study mix.

Top marks Mighty Mouse!

Move Over Milk Man

The general consensus throughout the uni community is that Girl Talk is the best mash-up artist; I for one disagree with this opinion. Girl Talk is considered to be the best because he markets himself phenomenally, not because of his talent. Now don't get me wrong the guy is pretty good, but there are others in the mash-up scene that do it better and deserve recognition. Super Mash Bros and the Milkman were introduced to me about a year ago by a drunken belligerent legend named Randy; they have remained my favorite mash-up artists since. They are always touring around the states so all you Americans keep an eye out when you're doomed to return home. I would also like to invite my fellow bloggers to share some of their favorite mash-up artists, lets get it goin!

EVERYTHING’S GONNA BE GREAT LETS TAKE MORE DRUGS

Eyeballs and earballs are pointed in the general direction of Tensnake after he peeled off Comacat (Yes ill give it to you) which inadvertently became THE dance anthem of 2010. One of those tracks that smuggled its way back from the sunny Balearic’s onto the Australian shores to brighten up our tupperware skies. Here mister Tensnake exercises a more subtle. slow burn approach to an early AM anthemic drop . Beautiful, swelling synths and warm a dunder headed bassline meet with motor-city strings to absolutely justify your deplorable behaviour and makes staying up for another 24 hours seem like a really fucking good idea.

Tiesto.....

"It was like he was standing at the podium talking to me telling me it would be all right; that everything would be all right." - anonymous Bondie.

Tiesto blew minds at the Sydney and Brisbane episodes of Stereosonic. That is a fact. It lives with such related facts as "Ocean water is salty" and "Herpes is bad". But the acknowledgement of this fact came as a suprise to a few Stereosonic Bondies. How could this Dutch Wunderkind make so many minds melt?

Well as a tremor to a far greater earthquake that I was not a part of, I offer to you some of my favorite DJ Tiesto mixtapes. Started back in the 90s, the In Search of Sunrise Series is one of the Iconic mix series out there. My personal favorite, and something that I'm going to share with you now, is his 6th release, In Search of Sunrise Vol. 6: Ibiza. Try to picture a sunset set on the beach somewhere warm and Mediterranean, with a group of mostly naked party goers from all over the world, enjoying the waves of sonic awesome rolling over them. Who's ready for a journey?!

Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza (CD 1)

Tiesto - In search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza (CD 2)

And, probably his most famous track out there, an uber Euro trancy take on "Adagio for Strings". Face, prepare to be melted......

Throwback - This Will Make You Happy

These tracks will make any dance-floor that much happier. As soon as one of them pops on there will be smiled and energy all around. The synth work, pulsating beat, and smooth vocal combo creates a sound similar to that of Bob Marley‘s track Sun Is Shining (Fatboy Slim Remix posted below). Even the optimistic lyrics add to the right brightness that this song creates, setting a perfect mood for the listener. The five year old track, ' Lets get down' which reached #1 in charts in Spain, uses the perfect mix of reggae, hip hop, and dance to create an amazing classic. Supafly’s track Moving Too Fast, another hit, is also posted as a bonus below. You will undoubtedly enjoy.

Lucky Date

This track, that I present to you to has all! Sirens yelling and Incremental bass drops throughout the track, backed up with amazing reverbs only to lead to one apocalyptic style drop that is sure to wake the dead. Is that the end you ask? NO he says! to pop a cherry on top, this track slips right into some strange, mutated, sexy dub step...thing that frankenstein crater would be envious of.

DJ/Producer – Jordan Atkins-Loria aka Lucky Date, has remixed this Spencer & Hill track – coating it in gold. As well as working on his own sounds, Lucky Date is also a synth engineer and has worked with french star David Guetta on some of his tracks. If this tracks anything to go by, Lucky Date is showing that he really knows what he’s doing.

I give you

Spencer & Hill – Dub Disco (Lucky Date Remix)

BONUS - Bossasaurus Is an unsigned duo how are really starting to impress with what they have been producing. The duo specialize in a unique form of rapping an inch from peoples' faces and peeing in their household appliances. I’m not all for hip-hop, so I was a bit taken back when I took a look at the band, but they actually have pretty great remixes. Check them out on Facebook.

BREAKDOWN

Break. Down. The. Party.
Seriously, this duo of LA fame waves the Cali flag of massive tunes and drops that are likely to put some people into cardiac arrest. Even in my headphones during a library break I can sense that the people around me know something is different; that something is happening over here.
Of course it could be because my headphones are too loud. Fuck it.
This tag team of music makers has been making headway in the electro house remix scene and has been getting support from the likes of David Guetta and Dada Life for their releases and remixes. What caught my eye (but mostly my ears) was a banging good remix of my current analogue dirty dream du jour, Daft Punk's Derezzed. Sure to be hearing more from these guy in 2011 with a prospective list of live dates all over the states.

A Plea for Your Support, Not Your Money : World Aids Day

Come down tonight to watch "The Lazarus Effect" by director Lance Bangs and executive producer Spike Jonze. The 30 minute film illustrates the transformative effect of life-saving antiretroviral medicine through the stories of HIV+ people in Zambia. By taking the ARV medicine – 2 life-saving pills that cost around 40 cents a day – in as few as 40 days, the medicine can help bring people back to life.

HIV/AIDS is a preventable and treatable disease yet it has killed more than 20 million people in Africa. In 2002 only 50,000 people had access to the medication due to its high cost. Today, thanks to reduced costs and increased access, about 4 million people in Africa are now receiving treatment. Still, 3,800 people die every day in sub-Saharan Africa from AIDS. “The Lazarus Effect” film shows that this needn’t be the case.

Deadmau5 4x4=12 Album!

For those of you studying in the batlabs, maclabs, library, lawbrary, and anywhere in between check it. There's been an album leak for Deadmau5's new full length album "4x4=12". After listening to it, I am personally shellshocked at what this man can create; say what you will about him but you cannot deny that his production skills and ability to mash old current and new into something un-definable and amazing. I hope you all enjoy the album DL and here's some tracks off of it to have a taste.

Don't be so ambiguous.

I am pretty up in the air about this one, not to sure if i like it or not. Mike Posners voice and sharp-tongued lyrics with a pinch of biting humour are complemented by smooth, melodic hooks and laced together with deep basslines so i really dont know what's to not like. This song is fresh as fresh can be only being let out a few hours ago. Im interested to know what you all think, Leave a comment below!

Thunderheist

In the post below I mentioned Canadian Electro duo Thunderheist. After realizing that a lot of you are probably going "Huh?!" I figured I should give a double dose of tasty treats and put the album up. The duo were successful with their debut single "Jerk It", remixed by the likes of JFK, Nasty Nav and Jokers of the Scene, and the album "Thunderheist" released after. This duo brings the silky sultry vocals of Torontonian Isis combo'd up with the 808 kicks and synthy electro lines of Grahmzilla and was always a sure thing on my naughtier electro mixtapes. Enjoy the album!

Vitual Stereo Experience

I've got three presentations, a 20 page paper, and finals to worry about but I just can't get my mind off of Stereosonic.Since the schedule has been released I've been carefully constructing my game plan to ensure I see all the best shows. I'd like to take this opportunity to share with all you Bondies where I will be dancing and where I believe the best shows will be. My fair friend Rattfink has had a major influence in planning the early stages of my adventure.

The day will start on the main stage at 1pm with TV Rock feat. Wynter Gordon. Old school

TV Rock - Feel it in the Air

After TV Rock has kicked the day off, I'll be heading over to Outrage Stage from 2pm to 4:45pm to catch some of Rattfinks "can't miss" artists. L-Vis 1990 will kick it until 3, followed by Congorock until 4, and finally Bart B More until 5. I'm forced to leave Bart B More's set 15 minutes early to catch the start of Benny Benassi on the main stage. If he dropps the Otherside remix, I can personally guarantee one of the best shows of your life, have a listen.

Benny Benassi - Otherside Remix

After Benny come Sebastian Ingrosso.Unfortunately he will not be accompanied by the other members of the Swedish House Mafia, but don't be fooled as he will blow the place up!!

Sebastian Ingrosso - Kidsos (Original mix)

After this shitshow I'll find my way back to the Outrage Stage to catch the first half of Afrojack. He is one of my favorite artists, but as is Calvin Harris who is sharing the 7-8pm time frame. 7-730pm Afrojack. 730-8pm Calvin

Afrojack ft Eva Simons - Take Over Control

Now I know youtube videos are highly frowned upon by my fellow bloggers, but this is a must see!! Calvin blew the roof off the V festival in 2009 and I expect none less from him at Stereo.

The night will finish up with the king of Trance himself, Tiesto. He known for the best beats, the best lightshows, and the most energy. I hope you've enjoyed my preview of Sunday and I hope to see you all there!!

Dirty South - Phazing (Tiesto Remix)

Treats! Bassanovva!

One of the reasons that I like posting on this blog can be attributed to why people like to own fish. You get to sprinkle little golden morsels of nourishment into the tank with the satisfaction of the fishie beautiful music loving Bondies rushing to partake in the beats bass and wobbles part of a daily balanced breakfast treat.
And such is the case today!

Bassanovva is the new side project of former Thunderheist member and all around Canuck producer Grahmzilla. For those of you that don't remember/ have never heard of Thunderheist I'll drop a track in at the end. Anyways after that split Mr. Zilla has been working on a side project With a Ms. Jubilee from outta Florida filled with smokey rave/Miami house beats, wonky dinosaur samples and great 4/4 vibes. The EP just dropped on Sinden's Grizzly label and features remixes from Nacho Lovers, Greenmoney and Munchi. Tasty for sure. EAT UP!

Stereosonic Brisbane 2010

With the hordes of study(party) abroad beautiful people stumbling back to campus from Sydney, and with the palpable anticipation of this weekend in Brisbane, I figure it's high time to do a mega post on Stereosonic 2010. Sadly, I'm not gonna be there. But I figured I should make sure that some of the smaller acts playing are represented. I know you're all gonna see Major Lazer, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Caspa and them. Make sure you give these guys a look too.

Acts You Should See
Luciano
I remember first coming across this guy's mixing prowess while listening to an Essential Mix live from Ibiza a couple years ago. He played versus Deadmau5 and actually gave the Ma5 man a solid run for his money. Expect Baleric house and liquid smooth mixes.
Cabo San Roque vs. Luciano - Calypso 08 (Luciano Remix)

Bart B More
Dutch. House. Bangers. Nuff said.
Bart B More - Brap (Original Mix)

Congorock
Italian rawness and synth punk terror all over this Fool's Gold kid. Supported by Bloody Beetroots and you can tell in his tracks. Get your screw face on tight.

L-VIS 1990
I had the joy of having my head blown off by this bassline heavy hitter some time ago and as one of the forerunners of UK bass, L-VIS 1990 does not disappoint.
Caspa - Where's My Money (L-Vis 1990 Dubble Step Edit)

Sebastian Ingrosso
As one third of the Swedish House Mafia, Sebastian Ingrosso is no unknown. His ability to get crowds moving is legen, wait for it, DARY!!! Probably one of my biggest regrets of not being able to go this weekend is missing him play. Go and avenge me!!!
Dirty South Vs. Sebastian Ingrosso - We Are Kidsos (ImanoS Bootleg)

Caspa
Known all throughout the Dubstep community as one of the pillars of the scene, Caspa is synonymous with the wobble that has taken the world by storm. His label, Dub Police, is one of the hotter imprints in the UK and his nights at the superclub Fabric in london are something to remember. For those of you wanting to know what Dubstep is, check him out for sure.
Caspa & Mr. Hudson- The Love Never Dies (Back for the first time)

Deadmaus & Kaskade- I remember (Caspa Remix)

Have fun you beautiful people!

Hello!

Following their massively successful pop number “Boys & Girls”, Martin Solveig collaborates Canadian Electropop group Dragonette once again to produce a track that feels straight out of the 80′s head bobbing scene, with chunky modern twist. There is a very innocent and childlike vibe as Martina Sorbara flirtatious vocals paired with a playful bass-line provide an incredibly seducing dance/pop song. This has to be one of my most played tracks. Enjoy!

Move Over Hedgehog, There's A New Sonic in Town

The things that can be said about Sonic C. Just one year ago he was an unknown 17 year old high school student in Miami, now he's an up and coming genius who has remixed some of my favorite artists such as Laidback Luke and Deadmau5. His own creations are everywhere as we've seen him perform "stickin" with such artists as David Guetta and The Bloody Beetroots. It seems like all of his beats are a constant build up which for me just screams dance party. Take a break from your studies Bondies and let lose with Sonic C. It's only a matter of time until he'll be touring Australia!!!

Want to get dirty?

I fell like iv'e been neglecting you all lately and for that i'm sorry! With assignments over for the semester 'Bondie Beats' its ready to shift it up a gear bringing you only the freshest of fresh track from all over the globe. For Todays post, fasten you seat belts and get ready for a dirty, dirty ride.

Royal Fetish has come up with another excellent release to keep folks clued in on this new label upstart. It’s a 5 and half minute electro stomper served up by Brazillian power legends, Darth & Vader and Australia’s very own Perfect Cell. Definitely made for the main-room clubheads. Keeping the Star Wars theme alive, the track’s packed with laser beam punches, mad space basslines and a pounding electro beat

Darth & Vader with Perfect Cell - Cellbacca (Original Mix)

I have to give some serious credit to the remix artist of this track, Prime. I was not that interested in listening to a remix of the Bloodhound Gang’s ridulously catchy, “The Bad Touch” but Prime turned it into an insanely addictive dubstep mix! Prime has a sense of humor (he also remixed the “Muffin Man”) and a gritty dubstep style that make this UK producer someone I want to see more tracks from ASAP!

Bloodhound Gang – The Bad Touch (Prime Remix)

Deadmau5‘s new 22 year-old Los Angeles based prodigy, Skrillex has abruptly risen to become one of electronic dance music’s most promising artists. Just the other day, he held 8 out of the Top 10 download spots on Beatport, turning some major heads. His primary genre is fidgety dubstep, though he’s been known to drop some progressive house gems here and there.

This is a really hard dubstep remix of Skrillex’s “Scary Monster and Nice Spirites”…not for the faint of heart.

Life is to serious

THIS IS YOUR WARNING IF YOU GET OFFENDED EASLY PLEASE DO NOT CONTINUE ----but I suggest you keep reading
There is some great stuff here that WILL ROCK YOUR SOCKS

Life is to serious and since I'm in a bit of a cynical mood i may as well attempt to step the line.

4 PM on a Friday at Bond uni might as well be an athletics competition, everywhere you look there are people bolting across campus to narrowly hand in that, largely put off assignment on time. First of all I would just like to say a massive WOW and well done to Rattfink, If you haven't had a look at Rattfinks last post I would seriously suggest you slap your self hard. Music is meant to get you moving and bring out an emotion and thats exactly what our job is here. I haven't slept yet so ive been listing to some pretty heavy stuff to keep me powering on. The songs below will be sure to help you shake of Thursday nights hangover and get get ready for another huge night!

Everything posted here is meant to be played loud! do the songs justice!

First of all In an effort to avoid courting controversy (in a social setting at least) I try to keep my dislike for the Beatles under wraps. Its not that i dont like some of their songs but i just dont see how they have the same celebrity status as the almighty. It’s not that I don’t recognise their talent or ability to write tunes that bury themselves into the public concious like some kind of malignant, musical virus. It’s the entire timbre of that 60s jangly guitar pop scrapes my shins. The rattling drums, the twanging strings, the swinging fringes – I like precisely none of it. Maintaining a dislike of the Beatles is tantamount to heartily approving of bankers bonuses. It’s with middle finger fully extended that I present a bootleg which most you will view as a complete travesty to the musical heritage.

The Beatles – Come Together (A.Skillz Remix)

MUSIC FOR SKINNY CHICKS - I have finished all assignments and I get to root around in the dusty end of my music collection to share with you some of the golden oldies I’ve acquired over the years. I tend to stick these old tunes on in the ridiculous hours at parties and they always crack a smile.

Arthur Godfrey – Too Fat Polka

Krafty Kuts - Shake Them Hips ---this is just gets me moving EVERY TIME

WHAT DO WE GET FOR TEN DOLLARS?

it’s official, this morning the internet is devoid of new and exciting music. So feeling slightly brow beaten by the dearth of ridiculous electro that has been allowed through into our ears, don't get me wrong there is some AMAZING new stuff coming out but there is also ALOT OF CRAP. as you can tell I’ve been sniffing the undercrackers of my music collection looking for tunes that stand the test of time. Glorious musical interludes of such staggering beauty and exquisite composition they make grown men glisten at the tip and give the laydays a wide on. And what better place to finger than the 90′s Miami Bass section where 2 Live Crew are STILL having a filthy sex party. Take your post-dubstep and future garage and shove it. for ten dollars you can get ANYTHING YOU WANT.

2 Live Crew – Me So Horny

Dont Judge me.

Nerding it up at Satin

Oh man. Savage thanksgiving last night. Seriously I do not know how non-Bondies live in the Shores. That place is anarchy and angry cabbies.
Well sadly after the wrap up party of moustaches the campus will be a bit less hairy, as lip after lip is shedding its fur and once again feeling the warmth of the sun. But take heart! For if you loved feeling like a washed up 70s porno star all month then you're gonna love being a nerd tonight! Huge one going down at Satin get you suspenders and pocket protectors out, chuck on your best pair of busted glasses, and drone on about Star Wars or comic books, it's time to nerd it up!
Here's a few tracks outta the Dim Mak label that I've been poaching the past couple days. That label is, as the Spanish would say, En Fuego.

The Bloody Beetroots & Steve Aoki-New Noise

Etienne de Crecy- No Brain

Etienne de Crecy- Punk

Felix Cartal- Love

Armand Van Helden & Steve Aoki- Brrrat (His Majesty Andre Remix)

And while this one isn't part of the Dim Mak crew, I'm just loving becoming re-acquainted with this legendary electronic producer. He was a DMC finalist at age 15 and then signed with Warp after gaining heat on a few epic underground mixtapes.

Hudson Mohawke- Joy Fantastic

Gobble Gobble Wobble Wobble

First thing's first. To all you Stereosonic party goers leaving to Sydney this weekend: the amount of jealousy I feel towards all of you knows no bounds. Seriously. Have a disgustingly good time. For those of us that felt compelled to stay up here and make with the academia FEAR NOT! Bondiebeats is here to make sure that we all stay well greased in the oil wrestling pool that is awesome music.

I'm feeling a bit festive today with regards to the turkey feast coming up, even though those of you privy to my non-Rattfink'd identity will say "But you're Canadian!?" (AHA, a clue!). However, I say what a better way to wait for a turkey to cook or a potato to mash than some good ol' fashioned Dubstep (+goon, obviously). So here you go. Some of my current faves old and new to get in the mood to over eat, over drink, and somehow hit the bar afterwards.

La Roux- Goin in for the Kill (Skream's Lets Get Ravey Remix)

Loved the bare sub wobble of this track, and thought it was a perfect accompaniment to a passed out Vince for the end song in one of the episodes in this season's Entourage. Haunting.

Katy B- On a Mission (Benga Production)

It's kinda like dubstep lite, but gets me moving every time. Benga is one of the pioneers of UK dubstep and getting him on your production is always a sure fire way to get, well, Fire! Great Track

Borgore- Cry Me a River

The other end of the spectrum for sure. This Israeli wobbler is bringing out some of the most disgusting bass that I've come across in a while. Careful if you're listening in headphone or prone to bass induced seizures.

Joker & Ginz- Purple City

To finish it off I thought I'd put in a playful single from a dubstep producer doing things a bit differently. Joker always has a bit of a playful vibe in his tracks, very cool lovely synthesis and in a genre where everything just seems ARRGGG!!!, I think it's quite refreshing without being thin and weak.

Cheers and Turkeys!

- Rattfink

EDIT!!!!!

I totally forgot this track!!! Honestly this guy's EP just came out and he's been blowing minds worldwide with the filthy filthy dubstep. Skism's the name, savage beats are the name. Supposedly it was number 1 in North Korea for 37 weeks and one of the songs on the EP became the marching anthem for the People's Army. No jokes. Get the EP "Down With The Children".

Skism- Rave Review

Skism- Rise of the Idiots (Funtcase Remix)

Desperate House Vibes

Keeping this post short but it is one that should not be missed for all you House cats. Im admittedly a it behind the 8 ball on this one but it needed to be posted. Desperate House Vibes is a 19-track mixtape with catchy title, Desperate House Vibes, was released quite a few days ago and provides us with some great remixes of some of the most popular songs from 2010 as well as one I grew attached to, a remix of 1979 dance hit We Are Family by Sister Sledge.

Florence and the Machine- You've Got the Love(The Very Best Re-Do of the XX Remix)

The Very Best is a collaborative project between Esau Mwamwaya and the London based DJ/production duo Radioclit. The group have had critical success from their releases through GREEN OWL and have collaborated/toured with M.I.A., Vampire Weekend, and Crookers.
For all of you that “got the love” you’ll fall in love with this marvelous mix…. fused with the warmth of Florence Welch’s voice from Florence and the Machine and adds to the friction that is created by singers Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim’s members of The XX.

Disco Lemonade Mixtape

Chris Culnane AKA Disco Lemonade AKA DJ Toronto AKA Beibs has been spinning for our enjoyment around campus holding down his residency at the Penthouse/various houseparties and has recently blown minds at Komune's Endless Summer pool party and after party. He's just finished up a half hour mixtape of some house-y goodness. Hello Bond! Did you all notice something a bit different? if you didn't id suggest you get your eyes looked at. WE GOT A FACELIFT! I honestly feel like a 17 year old princess who has gotten that boob job form daddy for christmas, and ready to show them off to the world! Before getting into the good stuff. My nephew (15) called me up today and told me that he is going to break up with his girlfriend at school because "she doesn't get the rules of handball." I didn't know how to reply so my advice was, "its probably for the best, Handball comes first". Im a bad person, Honestly i don't know where I'm going with this but i thought it was worth sharing. To celeberate our new boob job/facelift here are a few songs ive had on repeat for the past few days.

When I realised that the vocal mix of Gaudino’s “I’m in Love”, featuring Rihanna, was so fucking good, it almost caused me to crash into the guard rail while driving. We also have some throwback “Airplane” remix, and a very fun tech house jam infused with latin flavour.

Alex Gaudino feat. Rihanna - I'm In Love (I Wanna Do It) (Vocal Club Mix)

BoB Feat. Hayley Williams - Airplanes (Tony Lizard Remix)

Rico Bernasconi vs Vaya Con Dios - Nah Neh Nah (Original Club Mix)

Kid Cudi- Pursuit of Happiness (Steve Aoki Remix)

He may look like an Asian serial killer, but he rips it up.
Im not even sure what to write about this one. Ive listened to it 4 times straight.
This dude Steve Aoki is a genius- there I said it, now listen.

(Rattfink'd note- Aoki has been in the electro scene since the beginning; Founding Dim Mak records in 1996, working with, releasing and collaborating on bangers with pioneers such as MSTRKRFT, The Bloody Beetroots, Mustard Pimp, LMFAO, Kid Cudi, Bloc Part, the list goes on. He's been called the "Lil Wayne of American Electro House. Pretty much can't miss when you wanna make people lose their minds.)

Swedish House Mafia- Until One

Say it's a Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday evening (damn we party a lot here). You are going through your iTunes library trying to find a sweet mixtape to get your night started. I'm talking really getting the night going. Well our favorite Scandinavian house Demigod trio have plucked some manna from their own personal 4/4 Valhalla and given it unto us. And it was(is) good.

"Until One", The Swedish House Mafia's first studio album release, just came out in the end of October. The album itself has such singles as "One", "Miami 2 Ibiza", and pretty much a collection of the bangers that have been driving you mental on dancefloors world wide. These guys between them have owned big room bangers and dancefloor anthems for the past year and this release is a fitting collection of their sterling work. What I'm posting now (you lucky darlings) is a continuous mix done by SHW of their album. Huge mashups and rare one off mixes are everywhere; volumes to eleven please.
Cheers you lovely things.

Put some dub in your step

So yes, i have flooded you all with posts, and I am NOT SORRY!, why you ask? I have just stubbled across some things i needed to pass on! how could I not when these songs are getting comments like these:

“Skrillex stole this from the future”

“It seems as though I’ve ejakulated in my pants”

And my personal favorite:

“wow I just got a boner and i’m a girl”

People love this this stuff! and there’s a good reason for that. They know how to make good music, and they are creating sounds that no other producers really are these days.

Jesus, for the first one is there anything that Skrillex touches that doesn’t turn to gold? This record here is a remix of Bruno Mars‘s somewhat overplayed pop radio record, “Just The Way You Are.To be honest, I’d never listen to this Bruno Mars record on its own, but holy shit, this remix is king. Skrillex magically and effortlessly blends elements of trance, dubstep, and his signature “fidget house” sound to create an electronic remix devoid of any particular genre classification.

Just The Way You Are (Skrillex Remix)

BUT PLEASE DONT STOP THERE! THIS IS AMAZING! If you dont believe me skip to 3:10
