John Paul Larkin AKA The Scatman is best known for this 1994 hit single: Scatman. This California native born with a stutter prides himself on turning “my biggest problem into my biggest asset.” He was also named “Best New Artist” in two countries and I’m sure you all know this hit already, but I’m providing it to those that don’t have it on their Itunes just yet. Before Scatman John passed away 11 years ago at the age of 47 from cancer, he was a recipient of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association’s Annie Glenn Award for outstanding service to the stuttering community and National Stuttering Association Hall of Fame. If you haven’t heard this track, you’re really missing out, give it up for The Scatman.
